- To understand the relationship between Working Memory and student learning
- To develop strategies that can be implemented to effectively assist students with poor Working Memory
Description
This course will provide teachers with the latest research on Working Memory Theory and its impact on learning for children with deficits in their working memory. The course will not only provide theory but specific intervention practices that can be utilised upon course completion. The course will continue to examine the impact deficits in working memory have on learning and reading and provide intervention practices for utilisation in both the mainstream and learning support environment.
