From this year, your payment summary will only be available via the Australian Government’s online service, myGov. It will not be provided by the department.
This change follows the Australian Government’s introduction of a new way for organisations to report salary and superannuation information, known as Single Touch Payroll (STP).
It means you will need to have a myGov account and link it to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to access your payment summary. The ATO is now calling a payment summary an Income Statement.
After creating a myGov account and linking it to the ATO, you can access your year-to-date earnings, tax and super information online at any time.
