With COVID vaccinations now mandatory for teachers in most states and territories, we have made it easy for schools to keep track of vaccinated teachers using a new customisable checkbox.
What is the customisable checkbox?
The customisable checkbox is an easy, visual way for schools to keep track of the teachers who have shown their vaccination record and those who haven’t. If you use another way of recording the vaccination status of your casual teachers, or are in a state where vaccinations aren’t mandatory, you can still use the customisable checkbox to record and filter teachers based on any extra fields you like. Good news — the customisable checkbox is already live. You’ll find it the teacher cards when you log into ClassCover.
How does it work?
When you log into ClassCover you will see the customisable checkbox called “Custom Checkbox” by default. To change this to vaccination status — or anything else your school needs to track — go into admin settings where you will see the option to change the name of the checkbox field to whatever you want.
Once the field has been updated to whatever you want it to say, you can go into your list and check off teachers whose proof of vaccination you have sighted and then filter by teachers that are or aren’t vaccinated.
When you go to book a teacher from your list, you can easily sort by teachers who have shown their proof of vaccination to make it quicker than ever to ensure you are booking a teacher that is able to work at your school.
