ClassCover has been announced as a winner in the 2023 Tech Scale Up Awards in the category of “EdTech Business of the Year.” In an event held earlier this month at Sydney’s Tank Stream Labs—the former home of ClassCover—businesses across a range of categories were recognised for their individual contributions to their sector as well as their potential for future growth.
Speaking at the awards, ClassCover CEO, Ben Grozier said he was thrilled to accept the award on behalf of the ClassCover team.
“We are thrilled to win the EdTech of the year award in acknowledgment of the positive impact we have on schools, teachers and students across Australia.
I was the one who stepped up to receive the award and get the photos, however, in the background, I’m just the team member who gets all the crappy business stuff out of the way (#chiefsnowplough) so that my team, who are way better at their jobs than I could ever be, are set up to succeed. This is your win.”
Other finalists in the EdTech category were Peeplcoach—a leadership development platform, and Studiosity—a feedback and peer connection platform for university students.
Asked what was next for ClassCover after the win, CEO, Ben Grozier focused on the future of education.
“There’s lots of exciting stuff to come from the ClassCover engine room in 2023/4 as we try to alleviate the pressures of the teacher supply crisis and provide students with an opportunity to thrive.”
